IPL Season 4

 

With the brilliant knock of 158* by Mccullum, IPL 1 kicked off with a bang. Due to various security issues IPL 2 moved to South Africa and got terrific response there and IPL 3 was back to INDIA and Mumbai Indians steals the show under Master Sachin captaincy, even though CSK won the title.

The auction happened few days back was the bigger than ever. Two new teams joined and so format changed a bit.10 teams have to play 14 games each, each team plays 5 other teams(home and away) twice and 4 teams once(2 home and 2 away). Total of 70 league matches. For one spot in finals, 1st and 2nd team in the group standings will compete and loser of that match will play with the winner of eliminator contest between 3rd and 4th placed sides in the group table.

IPL will kick off on 8th April and final will be on 28th may.

MI got the immense fan base, only coz of The Man, Sachin Tendulkar. He is just awesome in every format of ceicket. Pollard played a crucial role in last season for MI ... he needs to continue doing that. They bought Rohit sharma by spending so much amount in auction, he is worth it. Highly talented player. Symonds is the another strong hitter in the middle order. Rayudu is a class player too, Middle order looking extremely dangerous. Mallinga and Bhajji gonna lead the bowling attack. Strongest Team.

Kumble steps down as a captain and retires from the IPL. It's Vettori, the new captain for RCB. No doubt, he has amazing captain skills and he is brilliant bowler. Their batting order looks solid with Dilshan, Kohli, S Tiwary, AB DeVillers and Pujara. Zaheer and Vettori gonna lead the bowling attack. Nannes is a brilliant bowler too. Suerly, they gonna miss Uthappa, Dravid, Taylor and Kumble. Good Team.

Completely new side. Sangakkara is the captain and is the key player for the team. Dale christian is the player to look out in this team. Batting looks good with Duminy, White, Dhawan, Lumb and Sanga. Steyn is the star player in the side. Big loss for DC is Kevin, he is out due to injury. Ojha and Mishra are the key bowlers.

V sehwag is leading the team. They have The Best Opening Pair in this tournament, Sehwag and Warner. N ojha is another brilliant opening batsman. Venu gopal rao adds strenght to middle order. I Pathan and Vander Merwe are Brilliant all rounders in this format of cricket. Sehwag is gonna be Key for DDD.

6 - Kolkata Knight Riders

The only team that didn't reach semis in IPL so far. So, team management made so many changes and took some tough decisions. Fans are angry for Ganguly's exclusion from the team. So, its important for them to perform well in this season. The Expensive player in IPL so far, G Gambhir is the captain for the team. With class players like Gambhir and M Tiwary at the top, All rounders like Y pathan, Kallis, Hasan, Ten Doeschate, R bhatia, Hitters like Haddin and Morgan and Bowlers like B lee, Sangwan, Balaji and Pattinson and few other players, Team looking Extremely Good. They are in the race for the Title.

Lots of changes in the team from the one in previous seasons. Gilchrist is the man for Punjab. Leading the team, Opening batsman and Wicket Keeper. He is the key player. S Marsh is extremely talented opening bataman. Hitters like D Hussey, D Karthik, Nayar, Mascarenhas and bowlers like praveen kumar, Harris, Board, Chawla make the team look good.

 Yuvraj is the Captain for the team. He transformed himself as a complete all rounder from the last few months and he is looking extremely confident and in the top form at the moment. Huge positive for Team Pune.Robin Uthappa is dangerous batsman in this format.
